During the 18th and 19th centuries, an increasing number of British men and women explored and sketched in the Indian subcontinent, finding ready subjects for their Prints in the beauty and drama of its scenery — the great monuments, imposing forts and palaces, mosques, tombs and temples and the natural grandeur of mountains, rivers and waterfalls.
Regenerations, a division of Aryan Books International, will highlight the work of these artists through the reproduction of these Prints. These Prints which are considered to be exclusive pieces of art will be compiled as a set to portray the artistic & architectural heritage of India. The reproduction of Old Maps, Photographs & Paintings would also be a part of the endeavour.
